Emile Midgley: The most famous examples of his work can be called "environmental art" or "installation art."Unfortunately a broad classification is probably as close as you are going to get to categorizing Christo's art because his style itself is pretty unique. If you really want a stretch I suppose you could call it "postmodern sculpture."
