Joel Feagler: To teach at a community college or higher you generally need to get a master's at minimum, and teaching experience will only help. Depending upon your years teaching, experience, geographic location, etc. it can be a great career. Just expect to do tons of professional development. All teaching has professional development, and technology changes so fast, you'll be doing a lot more studying than you ever expected/wanted.
Bethanie Menden: to teach it at a college you will compete with all the MFAs and even with an MFA it's really tough to find a full time position.
