A year of education courses might get you a teaching job and you could earn the additional credits in summer school Or to elementary education maybe two years. A degree from a prestigious school would go a long way toward a head start in almost any education field. good luck.
Shelley Stevens: Stony Brook is strong is most programs, including Psych. Binghamton, too. Adolescent education, i.e., secondary ed? You need to factor in the strength of the program of what you'd like to teach, too -- math, science, history, etc.
