Elsie Resner: You can not put only your mothers information if both of your parents work. That would be lying to the government. If you got caught, there could be some serious consequences. However, both my parents worked when I applied for financial aid and I did receive financial aid. It was in the form of loans. If you want to get more financial aid, contact the department of your field of study at your college or university and apply for their scholarships. alsoContact your schools financial aid office and see what they can do.
