Jose Calaycay: Science isn't a prerequisite in becoming a teacher. It does help to understand the basics of science though as you'd need to teach at least that much. What's required for becoming a primary teacher is a degree in education whether its a bachelors or masters degree. Aside from the core subjects of your university, no other science courses would be required.
